There are plenty of smart people trying to make ClickBank work.
They are not stupid. They are not lazy. Most of them are doing far more than they should have to.
So why do so many get stuck?
Here are the biggest reasons I see, and the simple shift that changes everything.
1. They try to do everything at once
Affiliate marketing looks simple until you try to build the whole machine.
Offer selection, funnel, email follow up, tracking, and traffic all have to work together. If you try to build it all in a rush, you end up with a messy version of everything.
2. They chase tactics instead of building an asset
A new traffic trick can feel exciting, but it does not replace an asset that compounds.

3. They send people straight to offers
This is the most common mistake.
If the person does not buy on the first visit, the click disappears and you have no second chance. You cannot follow up, answer objections, or build any trust.
4. They pick offers with no plan behind them
Most people “pick a product” the way you pick a movie.
They do not think about the long term plan. They just hope the sales page does the work.
5. They rely on motivation
Motivation is unreliable. Structure is reliable.
If the steps are unclear, you will procrastinate, because you never know if you are doing the right thing.
I’ve struggled with this quite a bit myself. I struggle with technical things, so if it feels too hard I will procrastinate.

6. They avoid follow up
The follow up is where most sales happen.
People need time. They need reminders. They need clarity. If you do not have follow up, you are relying on luck.
7. They keep starting over
A half built funnel never pays you back. A finished system can.
The real cost is not money. It is all the time lost restarting.
The simple shift that fixes most of this:
